With its notoriously fickle weather, London may not be known for its outdoor dining, but when the weather is nice, Londoners flea to the outdoors to soak up the sun.

The editors at Zagat found the five best outdoor dining spots in London. They range from elegant rooftop terraces where you can dine on fine French food to charming leafy gardens where you can enjoy rustic Italian fare.
Just bring an umbrella in case the weather turns!
#5 The Ledbury
This modern Notting Hill restaurant is a mix between a cozy neighborhood joint and a high-end eatery. It has great service, an exciting new French menu by Brett Graham, an elegant dining room and a charming outdoor eating space.
The restaurant, which opened in 2005, was ranked number 14 in the World's 50 Best Restaurants. It also has two Michelin stars and numerous other accolades.
#4 La Poule au Pot
La Poule au Pot, a quaint French cafe, will transport you to Paris with its fine French food, its romantic candle-lit dining room and its charming outdoor patio.
#3 La Famiglia
The name of this traditional Italian restaurant, meaning "the family," is apt as you'll be welcomed by the friendly staff as a member of the family.
