When you join Twitter, it's easy to get a little happy-go-lucky and go on a major following spree, clicking the little blue Follow button on anyone and everyone that looks halfway interesting. 

After all, social media is all about staying connected, and how can you be connected if you're not following anyone? 

However, there may come a time when you decide your timeline is a little too crowded or you're just no longer interested in seeing updates from a specific person. Thankfully, unfollowing them is just as easy as following them was, and there are multiple ways to do it. 

Here's what you need to know. 

How to unfollow a Twitter account on desktop

1. Go to https://www.twitter.com and log in to your account. 

2. To unfollow an account via that user's profile page, click on their name in your home feed. Once on that person's profile page, hover your mouse over the blue Following button to the right of the user's profile picture. A red Unfollow button will appear. Click to unfollow that user. 

3. To unfollow an account from your timeline, hover your mouse over the name of the person you wish to unfollow. This will reveal a small pop-up of the user's bio as well as the blue Following button. Tap this to unfollow the account in question. 

4. To unfollow an account from your list of followed accounts, go to your Twitter profile page and underneath your bio, click Following to reveal the list of accounts you follow. Locate the account you wish to unfollow and tap the blue Following button to the right of it to unfollow that account. 

If you unfollow a private Twitter account, you will no longer be able to see those tweets, and you will have to request to follow it again. If you unfollow a public Twitter account, you can follow that person again at any time.

How to unfollow a Twitter account on mobile 

1. On your phone's home screen, tap the Twitter app icon to open it. 

2. In your timeline, tap the name or photo of the person you would like to unfollow. This will only work if they have recently posted and their most recent tweet is showing in your timeline. Tapping on their name will take you to their user page. 

3. Once on the user's account page, tap the blue Following button to unfollow their account.

4. If the person you wish to unfollow hasn't posted lately or isn't showing up in your timeline, you can get to their user page by tapping the search button, represented by a small magnifying glass icon on the menu bar at the bottom of your screen. On the search screen begin typing their username, tapping on it once it populates. 

5. On the user page, tap the Following button to unfollow the account in question.

Millennials have a lot on their plates.

They're juggling rising living costs, staggering student-loan debt, and efforts to catch up from the recession. As a result of their consequent struggle to save, millennials are delaying major life milestones like getting married and buying a home. 

When it comes to the latter, it doesn't help that housing prices have increased — millennials buying their first home today will pay 39% more than baby boomers did at their age, according to Student Loan Hero. Coupled with financial struggles, its causing millennials to change the way homeownership looks in America.

Buying a house isn't out of the question for millennials, but it can be harder. From moving to commuter towns to living with their parents, here's how millennials are going about buying their homes differently than the generations before them.

Millennials are renting longer and buying homes later.

Millennials are waiting longer than ever to buy homes. 

Homes are 39% more expensive than they were nearly 40 years ago, according to Student Loan Hero. A report by SmartAsset found that in some cities, the median home outweighed the median income by so much that it could take nearly a decade to save for a 20% down payment.

And fewer 25- to 34-year-olds are living with a spouse or partner, Business Insider's Akin Oyedele reported in 2017, citing Census Bureau data. It suggests that milestones — like marriage — that often precipitate buying a home are happening later.

Student debt has also hit an all-time high, making it harder to take out a mortgage.

More millennials are living with roommates because they can't afford rent, let alone a house.

But renting is expensive, too. As a result, more millennial renters are living with roommates to cut costs.

In an article for The Atlantic, Allie Volpe reported the facts: From 2005 to 2015, the number of Americans aged 18 to 34 with roommates increased by 23%, according to the US Census Bureau. This doesn't count those living with a romantic partner, but does include those who live with their parents.

While cohabitation is a departure from the 20- and 30-somethings who lived with their significant other in the past, it's nothing new — immigrants and workers sought out boarding houses during the 19th century. 

More millennials are taking up residence in communal living, or "co-living," spaces, which are cropping up in major cities. Those spaces, Volpe wrote, are a modern-day version of yesterday's boarding house.

"Companies like Open Door, HubHaus, and WeLive, a subsidiary of co-working giant WeWork, are competing for millennials' dollars as young people continue moving to high-priced urban areas," wrote Melia Robinson for Business Insider.

Many millennials also still live with their parents.

Because of today's high cost of living, it's also common for American millennials to leave the nest later in life than previous generations did. More than 35% of millennials still live with their parents, according to the Country Financial Security Index.

"This should not necessarily be viewed as a negative thing as long as there are clear fiscal goals in place," Doyle Williams, an executive vice president at Country Financial, said in a press release, adding that using this time to build an emergency fund, save for a down payment, and focus on long-term goals can help millennials build financial independence.

In Miami, Los Angeles, and New York, more than one in four residents ages 25 to 40 live with their parents, according to a MagnifyMoney report.

In fact, millennials are waiting so long to buy homes that many of them are bypassing the need for a starter home altogether.

By the time many millennials do buy homes, they're older and less likely to move around as they settle down. 

Waiting longer to buy also gives millennials more time to build up their resources for a down payment. As a result, for some, their first home is a million-dollar luxury home, not a starter home. They are thus bypassing the need for a starter home altogether.

But starter homes aren't exactly sitting on the market because of this change. As Ben Casselman and Conor Dougherty reported for The New York Times, real-estate investors are swooping in with all-cash offers, purchasing 20% of the starter homes on the market and proving to be tough competition for millennials.

And some rich urban millennials are choosing to rent in the city and buy a vacation home instead of a primary residence.

Millennial couples are buying homes before getting married.

Unmarried millennial couples are buying homes together, prioritizing homeownership over marriage.

The trend of unmarried millennial couples buying a home together has become more prevalent, Daniel Gershburg, partner at real-estate law firm Romer Debbas LLP, told Business Insider. According to a Coldwell Banker Marriage and Homebuying Study, a quarter of American millennials purchased their home with their current spouse before getting hitched.

This trend is a result of a shift in attitudes toward marriage and economic conditions — higher housing prices make splitting a mortgage favorable. When coupled with expenses like pricier health insurance premiums and record levels of student-loan debt, it's easier to share a mortgage and down payment with someone else.

Millennials are downsizing, shunning baby boomers' large houses.

Millennials don't want the large, elaborate houses baby boomers built 15 years ago in the Sunbelt states like Florida, Arizona, and the Carolinas, reported Candace Taylor for The Wall Street Journal.

Millennials aren't interested in the outdated interior design, eschewing crown moldings and ornate details for clean lines and open floor plans, Taylor wrote. They also want smaller homes, she said. 

Rich millennials in particular are downsizing. They care less about size and more about quality, West Palm Beach real-estate agent Burt Minkoff of Douglas Elliman previously told Business Insider. 

Millennials are reviving the suburbs, but being more selective than baby boomers about where to live.

Millennials are reviving the suburbs as they flee the city in search of more affordable housing, reported Valerie Bauerlein for The Wall Street Journal. They're following in baby boomers' footsteps, albeit belatedly — and on their own terms.

Millennials are being more selective, seeking suburbs with good weather and good jobs, typically in the Sunbelt, William Frey, demographer at the Brookings Institution, told Bauerlein.

As a result, these suburbs are growing at a rate that's more than twice as fast as their neighboring cities, he said. In some areas, like Apex, North Carolina, the trend is creating an overcrowding problem, resulting in traffic jams and schools filled past capacity.

And they're not just stopping at the suburbs: Millennials are moving even further out, to the exurbs, for cheaper homes.

Some millennials are taking their search for affordable housing even further than the suburbs: They're buying homes outside the affluent suburbs and reviving the exurbs for the first time in a decade, reported Laura Kusisto of The Wall Street Journal. On average, these homes are more than 16 miles from central business districts — the greatest distance since 2004, Kusisto reported, citing Fannie Mae loan data.

While the housing market has slowed in America, more home sales and constructions are popping up in the exurbs, Kusisto wrote: "Rising mortgage rates and home prices, especially in urban centers, are once again motivating buyers to drive until they can afford a home, including in Dallas, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Low gas prices help as well."

Those who have committed to the move have found that the savings are worth the commute time, which can be up to two hours.

How to import videos from an iPhone to a Mac with AirDrop

AirDrop lets you easily send all sorts of files from your iPhone to your Mac computer. You will need to have your phone and your computer within a few feet of each other. AirDrop works only for short-range transmission.

1. Open the Photos app on your iPhone.

2. To view all your videos on your iPhone, tap Albums at the bottom of the screen, scroll down to the list of Media Types, and choose Videos. 

3. Tap Select at the upper right of the Videos screen. You can scroll through and tap the video or videos you want to import. A blue check will appear on each video you select. An option to Select All also appears on the upper left of your screen when you go into Select mode. This allows you to transfer all your videos at once.

4. Tap the share icon at the bottom left of your screen.

5. After a few moments, the AirDrop icon should disappear and your computer will appear. If you don't see your computer after a few seconds, make sure that your Mac has AirDrop activated. 6. You may see multiple icons, if there is more than one device nearby. Tap the icon for the computer you want to import to. You'll have to accept the transfer on your Mac. The import may take a few seconds. A blue line will appear around the icon for your Mac. The AirDrop is complete once the blue line gets all the way around the circle.

7. The videos you import will appear in your Photos app on your computer.

How to import videos from an iPhone to a Mac using iCloud

Apple's iCloud lets you sync your videos (and photos) from your iPhone to your Mac automatically.

1. On your iPhone, open Settings and then tap your name at the top.

2. Tap iCloud.

3. Tap Photos.

4. Turn iCloud Photos on by moving the dot to the left. The space behind the dot will turn green.

5. Next, open System Preferences on your Mac.

6. Choose iCloud, and log into your Apple ID account.

7. Click the box next to Photos to turn on iCloud photos.

One caveat about uploading your photos to iCloud: it could cost you. 

You automatically start with 5GB of free iCloud storage, but if you like to take a lot of videos, you could eat through that quickly.

The latest stats on Harvard's website show only an 11 percent acceptance rate for its prestigious MBA program. Those are intimidating odds for the roughly 10,000 prospective students who apply to Harvard Business School (HBS) each year.

If you're hoping to get a foot in the door, the best advice is often insider advice — something we specialize in at Business Insider. Read on to learn tips from the trenches about what worked and what didn't for HBS applicants who broke through the noise and got admitted.

Make your essay a 'window into your soul' 

A critical component of any business school application is the personal essay — so when you're pitching to get into a school as coveted as Harvard, you need your written statement not just to shine, but to sparkle and dazzle."At the risk of sounding overly dramatic, the essays are the windows into your soul," said Patrick Mullane, the executive director of Harvard Business School Online and a HBS graduate. "They are a chance to put a personality around the numbers that will make up much of an application. It's not enough to be a great writer — although that's essential. An applicant must also be able to communicate, in a relatively short amount of space, something that makes them human."

Mullane doesn't believe that this "something" needs to be a tale of overcoming incredible adversity, noting that overplaying such hands can be detrimental — and he feels that the writing need not be complicated. "Good communicators use simple language and short sentences to get their point across," said Mullane. "Comedian George Burns once said, 'The secret of a good sermon is to have a good beginning and a good ending; and to have the two as close together as possible.' I think that's great advice for admissions essays as well."

Have a novel story to tell — and tell it well

Knowing that thousands of other top-caliber candidates may be following the above advice too, the question then becomes how to give your essay the best chance to rise to the top of the heap. HBS graduate Mike Rivkin, author and owner of Silverfish Press, explains how having a different story to tell than the average college student may help tip the balance when it comes to winning over the admissions committee. Though Rivkin's college grades and scores were "good but not exemplary" and his extracurricular activities were modest, he focused his essays around his unique experience of running charter and commercial fishing boats out of San Diego. As a Coast Guard licensed captain who earned his money for college by fishing for billfish and tuna, he recognized that he had a story to share that few other applicants could mirror.

"Looking back, I think the novelty of such a background resonated with HBS's search for diversity," said Rifkin. "The details of running an expensive fishing boat and being responsible for all related charters, fuel, crew, maintenance, and more were not part of your typical application." He added that some favorable letters of recommendation may have helped, too.

Channel authenticity

In the quest to come up with a standout story, it's important to ensure that your essay is still true to who you are. Shaifali Aggarwal, an HBS graduate and the founder and CEO of Ivy Groupe, a boutique MBA admissions consulting company, names communicating authentically as a key factor that helped her get selected for the program. "I took the time to think about my experiences across the personal/extracurricular, professional, and academic realms to gain an understanding of what my unique strengths and attributes were, and then highlighted those qualities through specific examples throughout my application," said Aggarwal.

Additionally, Aggarwal connected the dots in her story so that the admissions committee could understand the choices she made in the past and how they linked to her future aspirations. "To further differentiate myself, I provided color on why some experiences were instrumental in shaping who I was and were meaningful to me," she said. "In doing so, I demonstrated the human aspects of myself as well as self-awareness."

Give yourself enough time to write your masterpiece

Once you've identified the authentic tale that only you can tell and are committed to delivering it "George Burns' style," be sure not to sabotage your efforts by failing to carve out enough time to actually craft it.

Kaneisha Grayson was admitted to HBS with a 620 GMAT, and now helps others do the same as founder and CEO of The Art of Applying. Grayson emphasizes the importance of giving yourself enough time, space, and support to write an outstanding essay, opining that many applicants dedicate too much time and energy on trying to get "GMAT final," while leaving themselves with just a few weeks — or even days — to work on the essay.

"The essay is the part of your application process over which you have the most control," said Grayson. "By making your essay a concise, compelling, and authentic representation of your personal and professional accomplishments, goals, and interest in joining the HBS community, you give yourself a huge advantage over people who treat the essay as an afterthought."

Camilo Maldonado, a member of HBS Class of 2017 and co-founder of The Finance Twins, also focused on highlighting his unique work experience in his HBS application. At the time he applied, Maldonado worked at Bonobos, a men's apparel eCommerce company, where he was promoted to serve as the chief of staff at age 25. As a result, Maldonado was able to have a high amount of responsibility working for a smaller, less structured company. "I made sure that my recommendations highlighted the experiences I had working at a high-growth company," said Maldonado. "I knew that many of the applicants at the top business schools come from Wall Street, Fortune 500 companies, or tech giants, and that my less typical work experience would help me stand out."

Get your feet wet in industry

What else can you do to up your chances of getting into HBS in addition to writing a phenomenal essay? Some HBS grads mentioned working and/or interning in their field — whether in traditional MBA territory such as finance and management consulting, or other areas such startups, healthcare, government, or nonprofits — before applying to Harvard's graduate business program. Paige Arnof-Fenn, founder and CEO of Mavens & Moguls, ticked all the boxes by being a Stanford undergrad and self-described "good student, strong in math, did well on my GMAT  — it did not hurt that my father went there too." She added to these credentials by working for two years on Wall Street as a precursor to her business school application. "I had great recommendations from bosses, wrote good essays, and applied in the first round so felt I had a good shot to get in," explained Arnof-Fenn  — and she did.

HBS graduate Marques Torbert, CEO of Ametros, also pointed to the value of working in industry before throwing his hat in the ring at Harvard Business School. "Coming from a family background that didn't include business, finance, or higher education, I leveraged the resources and connections around myself that I already made," explained Torbert. With the help of a fellow mentor and an alumnus of his high school, he started his career by interning and working for equity firms, where he gained a wealth of financial knowledge. "With my drive to challenge myself, I wanted to expand my financial experience and understand the operations side of business," said Torbert.

Target these 3 characteristics

When the managing director of MBA Admissions and Financial Aid, Chad Losee, chimes in with admissions guidance, candidates for the program would be wise to listen. Losee notes that there are three common characteristics shared by successful applicants: "First, they have demonstrated leadership, whether it be in an academic, professional, or extracurricular setting, and show the potential to have even more impact," he said. 

"We're also looking for applicants who have analytical aptitude and appetite, are able and willing to analyze a situation and form an opinion based on that analysis, and enjoy a lively discussion in a classroom setting, a key component of our case method of learning."

Finally, Losee emphasized that the school seeks students who will be an engaged part of the HBS community and be respectful of their classmates. "The best discussions come when there is diversity of thought, so it's very important to us that our student population reflects the global nature of business today," said Losee.

Rock your application — and then get lucky

Christine Telyan, an HBS graduate and the CEO and co-founder of London-based tech company UENI, neatly sums up the views of many of her fellow alumni by stating that while there are several necessary conditions for admission to HBS — strong undergraduate grades, near perfect GMATs, and interesting or competitive work experience — none of these on their own are sufficient. "You need to have that fire of ambition in your gut that propels you to do things a bit out of reach," said Telyan. "You have to want to work on things that test the boundaries of business or society."

Telyan also points out the elephant in the room: in addition to doing everything right, you also have to be extremely lucky. "Countless capable, accomplished, ambitious applicants do not make the cut," she said. "Your profile needs to add just the right balance to the class of 900 students, which depends as much on the other 899 as it does on you. As with most successes in life, luck weighs heavily on why anyone is admitted to Harvard Business School, which should keep us all very grounded and humble."

• You can take a screenshot of most content on Instagram without the person who posted the media getting a notification.
• Disappearing photos and videos in Instagram direct messages are the lone exception; their sender will be notified if you screenshot these types of messages or images.
• Instagram has changed their screenshot notification procedures in the past and may well change them again, so make sure to check on screenshot notification policy from time to time.

There are a handful of good reasons to take a screenshot of Instagram content.

Maybe you want to have immediate access to that awesome snap from your friend's birthday so you save a shot to your phone. Maybe you want to save a recipe posted by @marthastewart. Or maybe want to have a record of a disappearing photo or video you received via Instagram direc message, so you go ahead and snap a screengrab of it.

In the first two cases, your action would have been completed in total anonymity; neither your friend nor Martha Stewart would get a notification that you had taken a screenshot of their media. In the third case, though, the other party in the DM chat will indeed get a screenshot notification from Instagram.

Instagram does not send notifications when you screenshot posts, stories, and most other content

At the time of this writing, Instagram does not send screenshot notifications when you take a screen snap of a person's post or story, their list of followers, their home screen, or just about any other content on the app, including permanent direct message conversations. 

While you are generally safe to screenshot away in perfect anonymity, note that Instagram used to send more screenshot notifications in the past (for stories, for instance) and may again change its screenshot policies in the future, so check in from time to time.

The lone exception: Instagram does send notifications when you screenshot a disappearing photo or video in a DM chat

If you want to preserve a disappearing video or photo someone sent you in a direct message conversation on Instagram, you'd better do so with a camera aimed at your phone screen.

Instagram will notify the other party if you screenshot a disappearing photo or video in a DM chat, so take the snap only if you're OK with the person knowing.

• You can block or unblock someone on Twitter in a few clicks or taps on a computer or mobile device.
• Blocking someone on Twitter means they are unable to see your tweets, message you, or follow you. When you unblock someone, they will be able to do all of these things.

Just because President Trump can't block Twitter users, doesn't mean you can't. 

Twitter can be a great place for discussion, but sometimes heated debates can turn in to incessant trolling. This is where the block feature comes in handy. 

When you block a user, you are prohibiting them from messaging or following you and seeing your tweets. If you ever change your mind, however, unblocking someone is just as easy. 

How to unblock someone on Twitter on your computer

1. On your computer or desktop, log in to Twitter. 

2. Once you've logged in, tap the icon of your profile photo in the top right-hand corner and scroll down to find "Settings and privacy."

3. On the left, find "Blocked Accounts" in the menu, and click on it. 

4. The list of blocked users will appear under "Accounts you've blocked" — to unblock, hover your mouse over "Blocked" to unblock. 

How to unblock someone on the Twitter mobile app 

1. Launch Twitter. 

2. Swipe to the right to access the menu. 

3. In the menu on the left, tap "Settings and Privacy." 

4. Next, tap "Privacy and Safety." 

5. Scroll down to the sub-menu titled "Safety" find "Blocked Accounts" and tap. 

6. To unblock a user, tap "Blocked" — you will then have the option to follow that account. 

How to block or unblock someone by going to their Twitter profile

1. First, log in to Twitter. 

2. Once you've logged in, go to the profile page of the user you wish to block by either typing in their handle into search, or by clicking their profile photo from the newsfeed. 

3. Next to the "Follow" button on the right side, you will see 3 vertical dots, click on them. 

4. In the drop-down menu, find "Block @account" and click. 

5. A pop-up menu will ask if you are sure you wish to block the user. Blocking a Twitter user bars them from viewing your profile and tweets, as well as the ability to message or follow you. If you wish to block the user, click "Block". 

6. To unblock someone via their profile, go to their Twitter page, hover your mouse over where it says "Blocked" and click "Unblock" — this will allow you to follow their account, and vice versa.

The US housing market can seem highly competitive and saturated with unaffordable homes — especially for homebuyers looking to close on a house for the first time.

According to Zillow, first-time homebuyers account for 46% of all homebuyers and are more likely than veteran homebuyers to go over their budgets.

But not every market is filled with competitive prices and low inventory. There are many markets — such as Tampa, Florida and Las Vegas, Nevada— that offer first-time homebuyers low down payments in desirable locations. If homebuyers are able to pinpoint and understand current market trends, these markets can be easy to navigate through.

To establish its list of best markets for first-time homebuyers, Zillow evaluated metropolitan areas on four data points: current median home value; strength of home value appreciation forecast; size of current inventory; and current percentage of listings with a price cut. All four data points were given equal weighting. Listing and home-value data represent each market as of May 2019.

• I thought I loved the Zinus bed frame I bought when I first moved into my apartment but it turns out there's an even more affordable and higher-rated bed frame from the brand that's equally easy to set up.

I emerged that day disgustingly sweaty with some lower back pain, but overall the whole ordeal wasn't as terrible as I originally expected. Thanks to an efficient and powerful Dyson vacuum and an easy-to-set-up bed frame called the Zinus Shawn, I was able to transform my room in a few hours. 

Finding the right bed frame

Knowing myself and my disgust for spending more than 15 minutes on furniture set-up, I deferred to Zinus, a brand that makes inexpensive, sturdy, and simple furniture. I loved the first bed frame I got from Zinus, which was incredibly easy to put together and held up well during its two years of use. Why risk being disappointed by another brand?

I bought another Zinus frame.

This time, the Zinus Shawn 14-Inch SmartBase Bed Frame caught my eye. It has a 4.5-star Amazon rating from more than 26,000 reviews and it fit my criteria: minimal set-up required, enough clearance underneath to store my boxes and suitcases, and affordable. Starting at $40 for the twin XL size and going up to $84 for the California king size, it's even cheaper than the first frame I bought. 

Unpacking and setting up the Zinus Shawn bed frame

The frame arrives in a slim box and comprises two sections. In total, there are less than 20 pieces to the whole frame, including these two sections. The one-sided instruction sheet contains clear and simple illustrations to show you the set-up process from start to finish. You won't need any tools other than the included components and your hands. 

Flip the two pieces upside down, then connect the support bars on each end of the frame to force the legs vertical. 

The two pieces connect via these screw components above. 

Attach the non-slip tape on the center of the frame, and you're done! 

As you can see, the set-up process couldn't be easier. I dusted my hands off and thought, "Really? That was it?" 

Sleeping on the Zinus Shawn bed frame

I've been sleeping on this frame for 2.5 months with zero problems or complaints. It's surprisingly sturdy given its simple design and set-up process, supporting a 66-pound mattress plus two people with no squeaking or any indication that it's struggling. The steel frame is clearly very strong, but what's most impressive is that Zinus was able to combine strength with a hassle-free, noise-free design. 

The total height of the frame is 14 inches and it ultimately offers 13 inches of clearance, making it tall enough to store your large suitcases, clothing storage bins, and anything else you want to stash out of the way. Living in a small apartment with a job that sends me home with products to test every day, I've never appreciated hidden opportunities for increased space so much. 

The bottom line

When I tried my first Zinus frame two years ago, I was smitten. I didn't think I could appreciate the ease of set-up, strength, and affordability of a bed frame more until the Zinus Shawn frame came into my life. If you're looking for a sturdy new frame that you don't have to spend a lot of time or money on, I can't recommend the Zinus Shawn frame enough.

Instagram is consistently updating the features available on Stories. 

In 2018, the company introduced "Questions" — a question and answer element where the user can ask followers questions, or for recommendations, or vice versa. But beware: it's not anonymous. 

The feature is easy to use, and can come in handy if you are looking for things to do in a new city or just want to get the opinions of your followers.

How to ask a question on Instagram Stories 

1. First, launch Instagram from your device. 

2. In the upper left-hand corner above "Your Story" is a camera icon. Click on it. 

3. Take a photo or upload a photo from your camera roll by swiping up and selecting. 

4. After you've taken or selected a photo, tap the icon that looks like a square smiley face — this will take you to all the features you can use within Instagram Stories. 

5. Next, find "Questions" in the available options. 

6. Type in a question to ask your followers by tapping the text field that says "Ask me a question" — this is the default. You can also ask for music suggestions by tapping on the music icon near the bottom next to "Aa."

7. Once you are satisfied with the question you've posed, add it to your story by tapping "Your Story" at the bottom left. 

You can view the responses to your question in two places. First, you can go to your Instagram story and swipe up to see who viewed your question and who answered it. Or you can find responses listed in your notification list, accessible by tapping the heart icon from the bottom menu.

How to take a screenshot on Windows 10 with the PrtScn key

The simplest way to save a copy of whatever is on your computer screen is to simply press the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard. It's usually labeled "PrtScn" (or something very similar) and is located in the top row, among or near the Function keys. 

On some keyboards (particularly laptops) you might need to trigger the Print Screen using the Function key (in other words, hold the Function key and then press PrtScn). 

Windows features several PrtScn variations:

• Press PrtScn. This copies the entire screen to the clipboard. You can paste the screenshot into any program that displays images, like Paint or Microsoft Word.
• Press Alt + PrtScn. This copies the active window to the clipboard, which you can paste into another program. 
• Press the Windows key + Shift + S. The screen will dim and the mouse pointer will change. You can drag to select a portion of the screen to capture. The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard, which you can paste into another program. (This shortcut only works if you have the latest version of Windows 10 installed, called the Windows 10 Creators Update.)
• Press the Windows key + PrtScn. This saves the entire screen as an image file. You can find it in the "Pictures" folder, in a subfolder called "Screenshots."

How to take a screenshot on Windows 10 with Snipping Tool

Microsoft includes a much more flexible screenshot utility with Windows 10, called Snipping Tool. 

You can use Snipping Tool to grab a screenshot and save it as an image file without first pasting the screenshot into another program. 

1. Start the Snipping Tool from the Start menu.

2. In the "Mode" drop down, choose the kind of screenshot shape you want — you can choose anything from full screen to rectangular to a free-form shape.

3. Click New, and your screen will freeze. You can then use the mouse to create the screenshot. The screenshot will then appear in the Snipping Tool window.

4. If you want to include something like a tooltip, which only appears after a mouse movement, you can specify how long to wait before taking the screenshot using the Delay menu.

5. If you want to, once you've taken your screenshot, you can use the drawing tools to annotate the screenshot. 

6. When you're done, click "File" and then click "Save As" to save the completed screenshot to your computer.

7. You can also click the copy button in the Snipping Tool window — it looks like two pages laid over one another — to copy the image to your clipboard.

How to take a screenshot on Windows 10 with the Game Bar

The Game Bar is an overlay you can use within most Windows games to take screenshots and record video. Here's how to use it:

1. Start a game from the Start menu or the Xbox Console Companion program. 

2. While playing the game, press the Windows key + G. The Game Bar overlay should appear. 

3. Click the camera icon to take a screenshot, or you can use the keyboard shortcut: Windows key + Alt + PrtScn. 

The screenshot will be automatically saved to the "Videos" folder in a subfolder called "Captures."

If you're playing a game on Steam, you can also press F11 to take a screenshot. It will be added to your screenshots folder on Steam.

3. Under your user name, you'll see the Privacy and Safety menu. Click on this to reveal a list of options.

4. Click "Protect your Tweets" and a pop-up will launch asking you to confirm that you want your Twitter account to be private. 

5. Click "Save changes" at the bottom of the page and enter your password.

How to make your Twitter account private on mobile 

1. On your phone's home screen, locate the Twitter app icon and tap to open it. 

2. To the right of the Twitter search bar at the top of your screen, tap the cog to go to your account settings page.

3. Under your user name, tap "Privacy and safety." 

4. Tap the sliding bar next to "Protect your Tweets" so that it turns green, meaning that the feature is activated and your tweets are protected/private. 

5. When finished, tap "Done." Your tweets are now protected. 

It should be noted that while making your Twitter account private will bar new visitors from seeing your tweets, the feature is not retroactive, meaning that followers you gained prior to changing your account to private will still be able to see your tweets.

How to post to Instagram from your phone

1. Log into your Instagram account on the iPhone or Android mobile app.

2. Tap the square at the bottom of the screen with a "+" (plus) symbol inside.

3. Select the photo (or video or GIF) you wish to post from your phone's library or snap a new image with your smartphone camera. To make a multi-image post – you can use up to 10 pictures in one post – tap the gray circle with an image of layered squares and then tap the images you'd like to use.

4. Hit "Next" at the top of the screen, then select your filter if you wish to use one, and hit "Edit" to make other changes to the way the image's crop, brightness, saturation, and more.

5. Hit "Next" to add text and location, tag people, and pair other platforms – like Facebook or Twitter – to syndicate your post there, too.

6. Hit "Share" to send your post live on Instagram. 

How to post to Instagram on a Mac computer using Safari

Instagram is designed only to allow image uploads from a smartphone or tablet, but you can trick Instagram into thinking you are using a mobile device, after which you can make posts right from your computer using Safari.

1. Open the Safari browser, then click the word "Safari" from the taskbar at the top of the screen.

2. Select "Preferences" from the dropdown menu, then hit the "Advanced" tab on the popup window.

3. At the bottom of the Advanced window, click the box beside the words "Show Develop menu in menu bar."

4. Open a new Safari window, and then hit word "Develop" from the taskbar at the screen's top.

5. On the dropdown menu, hover over "User Agent," then select "Safari – iOS 12.1.3 – iPhone."

Now go to Instagram, and you will see that "+" button at the bottom to post. You are now viewing Instagram as if you were on a mobile device and you can upload images or other media right from your computer. Just make sure to revert to your usual settings once you're done.

• You might think that Yeti's new Daytrip cooler ($80) comes with a steep price tag for what is essentially a lunch bag, but there is something to be said for higher-priced items that last.
• I dragged, dropped, and tossed the Yeti Daytrip through mud, blood (of fish), beer, and more, and it's still shining.
• I'd consider this cooler a practical expense for most people who take their lunch to work or stroll out with a six-pack from time to time, but it also holds up for long days on a boat in the beating sun.

We all know Yeti for the brand's signature grizzly-bear-proofcoolers, if not the decal stickers adorning nearly every pickup truck from the Redwood Forests to the Gulf Stream waters. Now, they're making an almost indestructible lunch bag. Though, in all fairness, I don't think it'd hold up all that well to a grizzly.

Remember those coolers from back in the school days with packing foam for insulation and cheap liners that began de-laminating after the first spill of something sticky? The Daytrip is not that lunch bag.

If you own, or have ever held any of the brand's soft bags like the Camino, you'll have an idea of the construction of the Daytrip. To be blunt, even at the cost of sounding trite (and morbid): It'll outlive you. 

Features

This is a lunch bag and there's nothing truly technical about it. Apart from the magnetic "Thermo Snap" seal, it's just some very high-quality materials designed and put together smartly. A waterproof outer lining and heavy-duty nylon straps, together with a food-safe inner lining and foam insulation, make this a rugged bag for things both hot and cold.

If you really want to keep it cold, you'll probably want an ice pack or two. I haven't used one yet, but the two-pound, quick-freezing Yeti Ice seems to be the favored ice pack of choice among early users and reviewers of the Daytrip, and seeing as how it fits perfectly inside the bag, it makes sense. That said, I just stuck in a couple of small ice packs I'd gotten from a delivery box and they worked just fine.

My field notes

This particular Daytrip saw everything from mud to blood and beer, with not a stain. It didn't keep things cold for as long as I'd want it to, and in hindsight, I decided cooler packs would have been a good idea. I use them now and it makes all the difference, though you still might not get freezing cold temperatures.

As an experiment to see how cold the Daytrip would get, and stay, I sent a friend home with a couple of pints of ice cream surrounded with cheap ice packs and by the time they got home from a 30-minute subway ride, they were desperately rushing to their freezer to salvage it. But I would hardly call that a flaw; I've tried to keep ice cream in many other coolers, including the Yeti Tundra, and I've never been able to keep it fully frozen.

Otherwise, without any ice or ice packs, bottled beverages stayed cold for a few hours and still cool for a while after that, which is not bad at all for a little lunch box.

And, as you get on in the day, there are several loops for the little metal buckle so that you can compress it as you remove and consume its contents, which is great for hiking or being on the move. And once it's empty, at which point it only weighs all of 1.1 pounds, you can stuff it into a backpack or shoulder bag with relative ease and forget about it.

Over the course of five years or so, how many lunch bags would you throw out, either due to separation at the seams, a de-laminated lining, or an insurmountable amount of mold or mildew? You might not want to send your kindergartner (or even your sixth-grader) off to school with it, but if you're not prone to losing things, and if you take your lunch to work or school (or wherever you regularly go), this bag is a sound investment. If you need a little tote for your beer or soft drinks, it's also worth the investment. If you ever head to the beach or park with a few snacks, the Daytrip is still probably the best lunch bag for you.

Pros: Sturdy, stain-resistant, magnetic seal, adjustable closure, easy to clean

Cons: Still need some sort of cooling agent to keep things truly cold, perhaps price (but again, how many $20 lunch bags might you buy in a lifetime?)

On January 31, 1990, more than 30,000 people waited in line in the cold for hours to eat at the very first McDonald's in the USSR.

Now, the American fast-food chain has at least 650 locations throughout the country. McDonald's is thriving in Russia, with the number of restaurants growing 6% last year, as compared to the global average of 1.5%, The Wall Street Journal reported. And most of the restaurants in Russia cook with ingredients that are sourced from local Russian suppliers, according to the Journal.

On a recent trip to Russia, I ate at the first McDonald's to open in Moscow, and it was a step up from the locations I've visited in the US.

Here's what it was like.

The first McDonald's opened in the USSR in January 1990.

More than 30,000 people waited in line in the cold for hours to be the first to eat at the American fast-food chain. Many of them, The Wall Street Journal reported in 2007, had never tasted burgers and fries before.

Now, there are at least 650 McDonald's throughout Russia and the fast-food chain is thriving in the country.

On a recent trip to Russia, I ate lunch at the country's first McDonald's, which is in Moscow, to see how it stacks up against its counterparts in the US.

Russia's first McDonald's is in central Moscow at Pushkin Square, right off famous Tverskaya Street and steps from the metro. 

When I stepped inside, I was surprised by how spacious the fast-food restaurant was.

It also seemed very clean. I didn't see any garbage on the floor or half-eaten food sitting on empty tables.

The McDonald's sprawls over several levels.

At 2,500 square meters, or about 26,909 square feet, Moscow's first McDonald's was one of the largest ever built when it opened in 1990.

Some people were ordering in person at the counters.

But the location also had at least eight double-sided ordering kiosks.

Many of the customers appeared to be young people and teens.

I can't read the Cyrillic alphabet, so the main menu behind the counter wasn't particularly helpful to me.

I did see illustrated items like coffee, tea, smoothies, McFlurries, and donuts.

I made my way over to an ordering kiosk and was relieved to see it could be operated in English and several other languages.

I don't read or speak any Russian.

I browsed through the menu to see what a Russian McDonald's might have that a US location wouldn't.

I was secretly hoping to see some menu items made with stereotypical Russian foods, like a caviar burger or vodka-spiked McFlurries.

Instead, I was surprised to see a "Tastes of Italy" section that I've never seen in the US, which included a Tuscan panini, an "Italian Pie" that resembled a Hot Pocket, and something called a Mojito Italiano. McDonald's in Russia doesn't sell alcohol as it does in some countries like France, Germany, and South Korea.

The Moscow McDonald's had more seafood options than I was expecting.

In addition to the classic Filet-O-Fish sandwich, the menu included fried shrimp, a shrimp roll, and a fish roll.

When I got back to the US, I popped into a McDonald's across the street from my office in New York City and saw that it offered only the Filet-O-Fish, no shrimp or fish rolls. 

Ultimately, I decided to go with a classic: the Big Mac.

With fries and a Coke, of course.

I reviewed my order: a Big Mac McCombo, fries with sweet sauce (I'm not a fan of Ketchup), and a Coke. The total came out to 204 rubles, or about $3.22.

At the McDonald's across the street from my office in New York, the same meal cost $9.79.

After I paid with my credit card at the kiosk, the machine printed out my receipt, which had the number 857 on it.

I went to look for the pick-up spot.

I spotted a screen toward the end of the counter that was displaying order numbers.

I walked up to the counter and saw that my order was ready before my number was even displayed — less than a minute after I'd paid for it. 

I was impressed by the speed and efficiency of the whole process, as I'm used to a more hectic scene in American McDonald's locations. The contrast was even more clear after I visited the McDonald's by my office, where there are no ordering kiosks and an employee had to direct the customers to the next available cashier. 

I headed up to the second level of the restaurant, where there were plenty of seats to choose from.

The first thing I ate was a French fry, which was piping hot and perfectly salty. 

I wasn't too impressed by the look of the Big Mac when I first opened it.

But upon biting into it, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was hot, flavorful, and more fresh-tasting than a typical Big Mac. At McDonald's locations in the US, I enjoy the fries, but I usually find the burgers to be a bit tasteless. 

The Russian Big Mac seemed to have the same ingredients as its American counterpart— two beef patties, American cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, and the signature Big Mac sauce — but it just tasted better. 

Like in the US, the Moscow McDonald's offered free WiFi.

In Russia, you connect to WiFi by requesting a code, which is texted to your phone and which you then have to enter to use the network.

As I was eating, I looked around and was again struck by how clean the McDonald's was, despite the high number of customers.

In many US McDonald's locations I've been to, especially the larger ones, you often have to move aside discarded trays with food remains and wipe up smears of Ketchup before sitting down at a table.

But in Moscow, I saw an employee come over and clear away a man's tray mere seconds after he'd finished eating.

I didn't take a photo in the bathrooms, but I will say that, too, they were noticeably clean and didn't require a code to enter like in some American locations do.

Attached to the McDonald's was a McCafé with its own separate entrance.

It was a hot day, and many people were buying ice cream. The café also sells coffee drinks and baked goods. 

Outside, Moscow's first McDonald's has a spacious seating area.

It, too, was clean and well-maintained. 

The outdoor seating area overlooks a beautiful little park across the street with trees, flowers, and a fountain.

From this McDonald's, it's about a 30-minute walk or a 15-minute metro ride to Red Square.

In the US, I tend to avoid eating at McDonald's because it's usually a bit hectic, not too clean, and I don't find the food particularly tasty.

But in Moscow, the food, the ordering process, and the space in general were all at a higher level than I'm used to at American McDonald's. In short, I would definitely eat there again.

The exclusive boarding school, located outside London, near Windsor, is home to about 1,300 students, according to its website. Prince William, Prince Harry, Tom Hiddleston, and Eddie Redmayne are among its best-known alumni.

In addition to actors and royals, the school is also known for educating several future Prime Ministers, including David Cameron and incoming prime minister Boris Johnson.

The school is so integral to England's upper class that it is often called "the nursery of England's gentlemen," Business Insider previously reported.

Eton was founded in 1440 by King Henry VI.

Eton is an all-boys school located outside London near the town of Windsor, according to the school's website. It was originally intended to educate poor boys before they went on to Cambridge University.

It is one of England's nine original fee-paying independent schools, according to The New York Times.

Before being accepted, students go through a two-part application process that begins three years before they enroll.

Only boys between ages 13 and 18 attend Eton. The application process begins at age 10, when prospective students take an online test before taking an in-person test and being interviewed at Eton, according to the school's website. 

The application to enter Eton in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 is closed for everyone except applicants to two specific scholarships, according to the school's website. 

Once accepted, a student's parents will then have to pay an acceptance fee on top of the school's annual £40,000 ($US 52,000) fee, Business Insider previously reported.

Eton students live in one of the 25 houses on campus.

Each house is home to about 50 students of every age, according to Eton's website. The houses are run by a professional housemaster who supervises the boys, and a hired dame who supervises the house's full-time staff. Some of the houses employ private chefs to feed their residents, while others send their students to the school's dining hall.

Every student has a private room, according to Eton's website.

Students wear Eton's traditional uniform.

Eton's daily uniform consists of a black tailcoat, white tie, waistcoat, and striped pants, according to BBC. A top hat is added for special occasions.

Eton plans out students' entire day, beginning with Chapel at 8:35 a.m.

Eton students wake up at 7:30 a.m. on weekdays, according to the school's website. They then go to breakfast and are given 20 minutes to prepare for the day before Chapel. Afterward, students attend five classes before dinner at 7:40 p.m. Each house has evening prayers at 8:20 p.m. and everyone is in bed by 9:30 p.m.

Life at Eton is governed by traditions, including the wall game.

Eton has accomplished rowing, soccer and cricket teams, but the wall game is Eton's best-known extracurricular, according to the BBC.

BBC describes the game as "in effect a cross between a group fist fight and football." Players try to kick the ball down a narrow strip of grass next to one of the college's walls to score, according to the school's website.

Eton students are known for their powerful connections.

A group of 11 Eton students traveled to Russia to meet with President Putin in 2016, Business Insider previously reported. The students planned the trip on their own with no help from the school, Eton said in a statement to The Telegraph.

Fifteen members of the British royal family have attended Eton, including Prince William and Prince Harry, according to the BBC.

Royals like the princes typically live in Eton's Manor House, INSIDER previously reported.

Eton has also educated royals from Belgium, Romania, Ethiopia, Thailand and Nepal, according to the school's website.

Incoming Prime Minister Boris Johnson will be the fifth Eton graduate to become Prime Minister since World War II.

Prime Ministers David Cameron, Alec Douglas-Home, Harold Macmillan, and Anthony Eden also attended Eton.

Eton has educated a total of 21 Prime Ministers in its history, according to the BBC.

Royals and future politicians are not the only famous graduates to come out of Eton. Actors Tom Hiddleston and Eddie Redmayne are also 'Old Etonians.'

Redmayne played on the same rugby team as Prince William at Eton, according to People Magazine.

"I always felt a bit sorry for him because basically any school you played, all they wanted to do was tackle Prince William and they could say, 'I tackled Prince William,'" Redmayne said, according to People. "So if you were standing next to Prince William, like I was, it was actually quite easy and quite fun."

Hiddleston graduated from Eton one year before Prince William and Redmayne, according to the school's website.

Prince Harry and Meghan are considering not sending their son Archie to Eton, Business Insider previously reported.

The Sussexes may opt for the American Community School for baby Archie because it is more diverse than Eton, Business Insider previously reported.
